From her earliest memories, Dr. Forehand has always wanted to pursue veterinary medicine. She grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, completed her undergraduate studies at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee (Biology and Spanish), and went to veterinary school at Colorado State University. Although she misses the incredible views of the Rocky Mountains, she is happy to be doing an internship back in her home state. As an intern at Columbia Pike Animal Hospital, Dr. Forehand looks forward to exploring and developing her interests in general practice and emergency medicine. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys running, horseback riding, traveling, language (Spanish), and spending time with her rescue pup, Memphis.
