Michele is a local native. She grew up in Kingstowne and went to Hayfield Secondary. After attending Michigan State (Go Green!) for undergrad and veterinary school, she followed her husband around the country while he finished medical school and completed a residency program. She recently moved back to Northern Virginia and couldn’t be happier to be back home.
Michele always wanted to be a veterinarian, and she is incredibly thankful for her devoted family who supported her continuously to ensure she obtained her dream. She enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, but namely diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, and understanding animal behavior and how it relates to the human-animal bond. Outside of medicine, she is passionate about educating and empowering veterinary support staff to improve teamwork in the veterinary hospital. In her free time, Michele spends her days outside gardening and exploring with her family and pets, puzzling, cooking and baking, and, of course, doting over her WRX STi rally car.
